About the Candidate
Wayne lives on an 82 acre farm in southern York County with his wife Denise where he raises Christmas trees and leases acreage to local farmers.
Wayne graduated from Towson State College (now University) in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education majoring in History and Social Science.
For the past 40 years he has worked at Baltimore Gas & Electric Company. For the past 10 years he has held the position of Senior Key Account Representative. As such he is the single point of contact for the following Federal agencies:
- Amtrak
- General Services Administration (GSA)
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- U.S. Health Care Finance Administration (Medicare & Medicaid)
- Department of the Interior
- National Institute of Health
- United States Postal Service
- Secret Service
- Social Security Administration (SSA)
- U.S. Department of Transportation- Maritime (DOT)
- Veterans Administration (VA)
With firsthand knowledge of the daily operations of these agencies Wayne is in a position to understand and evaluate how these agencies might better serve the citizens of the country and cut waste.
As an independent Wayne will be a voice for common sense in Congress and will not be bound by party politics and undue influence by party leaders.
